The cost of a videoconference is determined by three factors: the cost of renting videoconference rooms, the cost of the call, and the cost of bridging services if they are required. Room rates range from $100 to $300 per hour depending on the location and the time of day the call is made. You will be charged for a room fee at all connection sites. ISDN calls are typically $75 per hour while there is generally no charge for IP connections. However, the reliability and speed of IP connections varies widely. Bridging services are required when connecting an ISDN system with an IP system or if you are connecting multiple sites. Our staff can provide an estimate for your specific needs. -
Tell us where in the world you need to connect to and we will find you a location. We are affiliated with a number of videoconferencing networks and our staff can find a public videoconferencing room in Tanzania, Tallahasee, or Timbuktu. -
If you need to connect three or more sites, we can arrange for bridging services. Ther is an additional fee for this service. Call us for more details! -
The quality of the connection is very good. ISDN lines provide superior audio and visual images. There may be a slight delay, similar to what you see when television reporters are reporting from locations around the world. The quality of IP connections depends on the speed of the internet connection. Call us for a demonstration. -
ISDN stands for Integrated Services Digital Network. It is a hard–wired connection that transmits data up to 386 kilobytes a second. This is the gold standard for videoconference connections. IP connections are made via the internet. The advantage of an IP connection is that there is no additional charge for the call; however, quality and reliablity vary greatly depending on the speed of connection.
